National Honor Society
NHS Mission Statement:
The object of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all students at MHS.
Requirements to become an NHS member:
Students must have an average GPA of 3.0. Consideration will also be given to a student's service, leadership, and character in the community.
Members of the National Honor Society conduct many different fundraisers and activities throughout the school year to help show pride in our school and also to help the people in and around our community. Each morning a member of NHS raises the flag in front of the High School building.
